At the start of the trial of the fatal accident in Mekdeci, a video of the collision is shown

The trial into the death of Ian Mekdeci in a car crash began on Tuesday in Georgetown District Court before Judge Leron Daly; video footage of the accident was shown yesterday.

During the hearing on Tuesday, the judge stated that the video of the accident was admissible in court and would therefore be included in the file.

Defendant Roberto Narine was present in court on Tuesday along with Mekdeci’s family members, but attorney Siand Dhurjon, who represents Narine, was absent, citing unforeseen circumstances. Regardless, Judge Daly ordered that if he was not present at the next court hearing, she would have the video played in court.
