Two arrested for alleged theft of gasoline and catalytic converters – The Vacaville Reporter

In the early hours of Sunday morning, two people were arrested for allegedly siphoning gasoline and attempting to cut catalytic converters out of company trucks at a depot in Fairfield.

According to Fairfield Police officials, 49-year-old Bobby Tavenner complied and was taken into custody on June 16. He was charged with a number of offenses, including grand theft, petty theft, tampering with a vehicle, receiving stolen goods and violating probation. His bail was set at $25,000.

Tavenner’s accomplice, 48-year-old Colleen Cox, was also arrested on suspicion of petty theft, criminal conspiracy and tampering with a vehicle. Her bail was set at $17,000.
