Downtown Atlanta building evacuated after bomb threat

The downtown Atlanta building that houses a U.S. passport office, the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of Consular Affairs and the Urban League of Greater Atlanta was evacuated following a bomb threat .

Atlanta police confirmed to Rough Draft that they are “assisting the Federal Protective Service at 230 Peachtree St. NW with a reported bomb threat.”

Fox 5 reported a heavy police presence in the area and people standing outside following the evacuation order.
