Report: Former Dolphins CB Xavien Howard allegedly shared revenge porn and texted a boy sexual images of his mother

Former Miami Dolphins All-Pro cornerback Xavien Howard is accused of sending a young boy sexually explicit images and videos of the boy’s mother because she refused to have an abortion, according to a new court document obtained by the Miami Herald.

The motion is part of a separate lawsuit against Howard, alleging he repeatedly shared sexually explicit videos of another woman after their relationship ended. The new lawsuit requests that the boy, who was unnamed and was a minor at the time, be allowed to sue Howard as part of the ongoing case.

According to the report, Howard was in a relationship with a woman in 2022. When she became pregnant that fall, Howard demanded that she have an abortion, according to the filing. When she refused, Howard “went on the warpath against her,” the lawsuit states. He then allegedly sent sexually explicit photos of the woman to her other son, causing “significant emotional distress.”

The woman sometimes texted Howard from her son’s phone, which is how Howard had his number in the first place, the report said. She said she deleted the messages when she discovered them, but her son later found them together through his iCloud account.

“This behavior is abhorrent, especially when sent to a child,” said the boy’s lawyer. Adriana Mayor, told the Herald.

The incident came after another woman filed a lawsuit against Howard, claiming she received “multiple sexually explicit videos” of herself and others following their separation in July 2022. The woman said she received a message from another woman about the videos and was one of the women featured in them.

According to CBS News, Howard told the woman he shared the videos to “make her angry because she didn’t want to have sex with him.” The woman said Howard once filmed her having sex with her knowledge, but shared the footage with others without her consent. Then last year, the woman was contacted by another woman who claimed Howard had sent her “several other sexually explicit photos and videos” of her and other women.

“She doesn’t know how many people he sent this to,” Alcalde said, via The Herald. “We would like to find out if anyone else received these images, these inappropriate images.”

Howard, 30, had 45 total tackles and one interception in 13 games last season, his eighth with the Dolphins. He was named to the All-Pro first team in 2020 and has made four Pro Bowls. The team released him in March with three years left on his contract. He remains a free agent. Neither he nor the team responded to CBS News for comment.
