Police: Accident involving pedestrian at VB intersection

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – Police are on the scene of a crash involving a pedestrian at the intersection of Lynnhaven Parkway and Lamplight Lane in Virginia Beach Friday evening.

Police said they were called to the accident at 7:46 p.m., but the driver remained at the scene.

VBPD said the northbound lanes of Lynnhaven Parkway from Fern Ridge Road to Lamplight Lane were closed and urged drivers to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
