Elliot Page reveals details of his ‘sexually open’ relationship with Juno co-star Olivia Thirlby

Elliot Page has announced that he and his Juno Co-star Olivia Thirlby “started having sex all the time” after intense smooching during filming of the movie in 2007.

In his new memoirs PageboyThe 36-year-old actor described how “surprised” he was when he saw Thirlby.

The Umbrella Academy Star wrote that even though they were the same age, Thirlby seemed “so much older, more capable and more composed.”

“Sexually open, far from where I was at the time. But the chemistry was palpable, it drew me in.”

In his memoirs, Page recalls that he began spending a lot of time with Thirlby, and that one day, as they stood in their hotel room, the actress “looked straight at him and said bluntly, ‘I’m really attracted to you.'”

“That’s when we started groping each other,” Page wrote. “It started.”

“We started having sex all the time: in her hotel room, in our trailers at work, once in a tiny, private room at a restaurant.”

The Independent has contacted Thirlby’s representatives for comment.

About his role in JunoPage added: “Ironically, playing a pregnant teenager was one of the first times I felt any autonomy on set.

“I had an artificial belly, but I was not hyperfeminized. For me, Juno was a symbol of what could be possible, a space beyond the binary.”

Page came out as transgender in 2020.

He announced this on social media, writing: “I want to share with you that I am trans, my pronouns are he/she and my name is Elliot.”

“I feel lucky to be writing this. To be here. To have arrived at this point in my life. I feel overwhelming gratitude for the incredible people who have supported me on this journey,” he said.

The Donna Edwards called Page’s book a “humane and well-written memoir.”

In addition to his relationships, Page also reveals other details about his life in his memoir, such as numerous cases of homophobia and transphobia that he has faced since coming out as gay in 2014.
