Ashanti Alert issued for missing teen in North Carolina; teen and 3 suspects may be en route to Tennessee

FAYETTEVILLE, NC (WGHP) — An Ashanti Warning has been issued for a missing teenager who disappeared from Fayetteville and may be on its way to Tennessee

On Thursday morning, the NC Center for Missing Persons issued an Ashanti Alert for 18-year-old Tierstan Cochran.

According to the NCCMP, “there is evidence of physical endangerment, abduction or kidnapping.”

Cochran is described as an 18-year-old white girl who is 5 feet 0 inches tall and weighs approximately 120 pounds. She has long black hair and brown eyes.

There are three suspects, none of whom have been identified by name.

The first suspect is a white male, 5’10” tall and weighing approximately 150 pounds. He may be wearing a t-shirt and sweatpants.

The second suspect is described as a black man, 5’10” tall, weighing 140 pounds. He has dreadlocks and may be wearing a red jacket with a smiley face and blue shorts.

The third suspect is described as a white female, 5’4″ tall, 135 lbs. She may not be wearing shoes.

Fayetteville police said the incident occurred on Birchwood Way in Fayetteville. The two men were likely traveling north in a newer model gray SUV, possibly toward Tennessee.
