Police in Scottsbluff respond to multi-car accident

On Sunday, June 2, 2024, at 11:35 a.m., Scottsbluff Police responded to a traffic accident with injuries at the intersection of Ave I and West 20th Street.

The investigation revealed that a red 2018 Range Rover, driven by Gerald Kilthau, age 73, of Gering, was traveling south on Ave I. A silver Chevrolet pickup truck was traveling east on West 20th Street, driven by Robin Hubbard, age 70, of Morrill. The two vehicles collided at the intersection of Ave I and West 20th Street.

A passenger in the Land Rover, Jean Kilthau, 72, of Gering, was taken by ambulance to Regional West Medical Center.

Gerald Kilthau issued a traffic ticket for violating the traffic light regulations.

Due to damage, both vehicles were towed from the scene of the accident.

The Scottsbluff Fire Department and the Regional West Ambulance assisted on site.
