1 injured after dump truck overturns in Durham, police say

DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) – One person was injured Monday morning when a dump truck overturned in Durham.

At 8:44 a.m., police officers were called to the 6400 block of Leesville Road for a car crash.

When officers arrived, they found an overturned dump truck. The driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

According to investigators, the driver corrected too sharply and went off the road.

No other vehicles were involved.
