Women attack Havertown man on I-476 in Marple: State Police

Pennsylvania State Police said a Havertown man was pelted with rocks and punched in the face by two women on Interstate 476 on Saturday.

HAVERTOWN, PA — A Havertown man was attacked on Interstate 476 on Saturday, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

On Saturday around 4 p.m., police were called to Exit 9 on Interstate 476 South in the Marple Township area for a report of a fight.

There, police learned that the victim, a 27-year-old man from Havertown, had been attacked by two women.

According to state police, the women, described as black and non-Hispanic, threw rocks at the man and punched him in the face.

They drove away in a black Nissan Altima in an unknown direction on Route 3, police said.
