Under the pretext of exorcising ghosts, the Maulvi played with the dignity of the minor girl. First he forced her to have a relationship with the girl’s brother and then he himself started sexually exploiting the minor girl. Now the police have arrested the accused Maulvi and the minor girl’s brother.

Chitradurga police have arrested a cleric for allegedly raping a minor girl in the name of religion. According to information, the cleric is originally from Uttar Pradesh and has been a cleric at this mosque in Chitradurga for the past few years. According to information from the police, the victim had been going to the accused for reading the Quran for the past three years. She fell ill for a while, after which the accused cleric assured the girl’s family that the girl was possessed by a spirit and that it could be expelled through an exorcism, after which the victim would be cured.

According to police, a few months ago, the Maulvi took the victim and her brother to a room in the mosque where he took the victim and her brother into his confidence by telling them that if they had sexual intercourse with the victim, the evil spirit would leave her. When the brother hesitated, the Maulvi forced him to do so in the name of religion. The victim said in her complaint that the Maulvi first chose her brother for this act and also made a video of it.

This is how the truth came to light

According to the police complaint, he then called the victim once a week and raped her under the pretext of exorcising the evil spirit. When the girl fell ill and complained to her mother about stomach ache, the mother became suspicious. When the mother asked her daughter about it, the whole story came to light. Based on the mother’s complaint, the police filed a complaint on May 31 and arrested the accused Maulvi and the girl’s brother.
