Mumbai Police found that the Mohra actor’s car had not hit anyone. According to a statement by DCP Rajtilak Roshan of Zone 9 to PTI, the video footage showed that women were near the actress’ car but were not hit. Raveena also shared Roshan’s statement on her X account (earlier Twitter). “The complainant has made a false complaint in the alleged video. We checked the entire video footage of the residential complex and found that the actress’ driver was backing the car from the road into the residential complex when this family was crossing the same lane. The family stopped the car and told the driver to check if there were any people behind the car before backing off and an argument broke out between them,” the DCP said in the report.

Raveena came out to help her driver, but the argument escalated. In the video, she can be heard saying, “Don’t hit me.”

Festive offer

“This argument escalated into verbal abuse and actress Raveena Tandon came to the accident spot to see what had happened to her driver. The actress tried to protect the driver from the mob but the mob started abusing her. Both Raveena Tandon and the family went to Khar police station and filed written complaints. Later, both of them also submitted letters stating that they did not want to file complaints,” DCP Rajtilak Roshan said, adding, “No one was injured in this incident. We have checked the CCTV footage and the car did not hit anyone. The actress was not drunk.”

Earlier, Mumbai police had said that none of the parties involved had filed a complaint. “Tandon’s driver tried to reverse the car and three family members felt they were going to be hit. After the argument, both parties left the scene and later the police reached the scene and questioned Tandon’s associates. The other party was also called to the police station. Both parties denied filing a complaint.”
