A curfew has been imposed near Memorial Park while police search for a suspect

COLORADO SPRINGS – Colorado Springs police have asked neighbors near 600 S Prospect St to shelter in their homes while they search the area for a wanted person, according to the Peak Alerts emergency alert system.

Neighbors are asked to stay in their homes, lock windows and doors, and stay away from them.

A department spokesperson told News5 they are looking for a suspect on the run and issued the alert as a precautionary measure since they do not know if the person is armed or not.
