Nurses attacked: Elizabeth Marie Chiesa, 37, of Bentleyville, was charged with three counts of aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment after Carroll Township police said she attacked several nurses while she was a patient in the emergency room at Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital on Tuesday afternoon. She is being held in the Washington County Jail on $25,000 bail.

WASHINGTON

Attack in the hospital: Ryan Matthew Kurtz, 35, of North Strabane was charged with aggravated assault, assault on law enforcement officers, disturbing the peace and harassment after he attacked Washington Hospital staff and a police officer during a CT scan Tuesday night, according to Washington Health System police. He is being held in the Washington County Jail on $25,000 bail.
