Woman dead after shooting in Lorain County

LORAIN COUNTY, Ohio – A man has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of a woman in Eaton Township, according to the Lorain County Sheriff’s Office.

Clifford L. Serafine Jr., 34, has been charged with murder after police say he shot and killed a 29-year-old woman inside a residence in the 12500 block of Melody Lane on Sunday, May 26.

Officers responded to the shooting at approximately 11:12 p.m. When they arrived at the residence, they found the woman unconscious. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The woman’s name has not yet been released.

The incident remains under investigation.
