California firefighter and sex offender arrested for causing a public nuisance

(FOX40.COM) — A Cal Fire firefighter who is also a registered sex offender was arrested Thursday after allegedly exposing his genitals to a woman in public, according to Rancho Cordova police.

On March 30, RCPD responded to a report from a car wash on Sunrise Boulevard where a man was “exposing his erect penis to a woman and attempting to talk to her.” The woman drove away and reported the incident to officers, who later identified the suspect as 32-year-old Clifford Robinson.

According to RCPD, Robinson was arrested several years ago for a similar offense. Additionally, Robinson was a firefighter with Cal Fire.

On May 23, officers arrested Robinson at his home for allegedly indecently exposing his genitals in a public place and took him to the Sacramento County Main Jail. The RCPD said Robinson paid his $10,000 bail and was released just hours later.

“Due to Robinson’s position in the public trust and his frequent and intimate access to the
Community, detectives seek public assistance to identify more
potential victims,” RCPD said.

Police are directing anyone with information about Robinson to call the sheriff.
