Tonya Hill of Fenton injured in accident north of Arnold | Accidents

A Fenton woman was injured in a four-vehicle crash on I-55 north of Highway 141 in St. Louis County early Friday morning, May 24, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.

At 1:07 a.m., Tonya M. Hill, 42, of Fenton was driving a 2016 Jeep Wrangler southbound on the interstate and struck the rear of a 1997 Ford Mustang driven southbound by a 17-year-old St. Louis female. A southbound 2009 Chevrolet S-10 driven by Sid H. Gallagher, 23, of Waterloo, Illinois, was also struck in the crash, and then the S-10 struck the front of a southbound 2006 Honda Accord driven by Jeffery M. Eichelberger, 62, of Festus, according to the report.

No injuries were reported for the teenager, Gallagher or Eichelberger.

However, Hill suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in southern St. Louis County.

All drivers were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.

The S-10 was a total loss, the Accord suffered moderate damage and the Wrangler and Mustang sustained minor damage, the report said.

The highway patrol did not release the name of the teenager because she is a minor.
