A threat investigation is ongoing at Oxford High School

OXFORD, CT (WFSB) – A threat against Oxford High School led to a security raid.

School officials confirmed to Channel 3 Wednesday morning that the principal learned of the threat.

Around 9:15 a.m., state police reportedly searched the building on Quaker Farms Road

School officials also said the threat was not credible.

The state police took over the investigation.

Police said they would be present at the school throughout the day as a precaution.

No further details were announced.

On Channel 3 a team is on the way to the crime scene.
