A man is dead after a knife attack at the Leominster apartment complex, prosecutors say

A man was found stabbed to death outside an apartment complex in Leominster early Tuesday morning and was later pronounced dead, according to the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office.

Leominster police went to the Riverside Village apartment complex on State Street just before 1 a.m. Tuesday for a report of a stabbing, Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.’s office said in a statement explanation with. When police arrived, they found a man had been stabbed.

The man was taken to Leominster Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to the statement.

The stabbing remains under investigation by state police assigned to Early’s office and Leominster police, according to the statement.

Early’s office encouraged anyone with information about the stabbing to call Leominster police at 978-534-7560.
