A man dies in a hit-and-run in Beech Grove, police are investigating

BEECH GROVE – A man was killed in a hit-and-run in Beech Grove on Saturday evening.

Beech Grove Police Department officers responded to the intersection of South 9^Th Avenue and Roderick Court at 9:30 p.m. for reports of an accident.

Upon arrival, officers found an adult male who had been struck by a driver. He was taken to a local hospital where he later died.

According to police, the driver of the vehicle that hit the man left the scene of the accident.
