Three protesters were arrested for blocking I-4 near Disney

Three protesters blocked Interstate 4 near Disney for about 11 minutes on Saturday, May 11, before Florida Highway Patrol officers responded and cleared the disturbance.

The protesters — identified as Isabella Giannosa, 26, of Oviedo; Jenni Nguyen, 24, of Winter Garden; and My Truong, 24, of Oviedo – were arrested and taken to the Orange County Jail. All are charged with disobeying a police officer.

The protesters appear to be associated with the group Central Florida Queers for Palestine.

This group claimed via social media that Orange County is “withholding bail, physically intimidating our community members and lying about their (sic) booking process.”
