Zamfara APC rejects alleged suspension of state chairman

The Zamfara Chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC) has rejected the alleged suspension of state party chairman Tukur Danfulani.

This was revealed in a statement made by the state APC Publicity Minister Yusuf Idris in Gusau on Saturday.

Mr Idris said: “The APC leadership in the state wishes to urge the public to reject the alleged suspension of the party’s State Chairman, Tukur Danfulani.”

“The action was initiated by disgruntled promoters posing as leaders of the party’s Galadima district in Gusau Local Government Area.”

Mr Idris said the party is also aware of the antics of some politicians who are planning to destroy the party in their plan to form a new party for the 2027 elections.

He added: “We are aware that some selfish politicians are trying to create problems in the APC in the state but we believe their evil plan will fail.”

“Even though some members harbor grudges against the Chairman, there are constitutional channels and laid down rules and regulations to deal with such grievances which were not followed and therefore invalidate the suspension.
