Traffic is being detoured on I-85 North near Tuskegee due to a commercial vehicle accident

MACON COUNTY, Ala. (WSFA) – A crash involving two commercial vehicles has closed Interstate 85 in Macon County.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, a crash involving two commercial vehicles occurred on I-85 near mile marker 33 in Macon County at approximately 3:33 a.m.

Traffic is currently being detoured at Exit 32 as both northbound lanes are closed during restoration work.

ALEA troopers are currently on scene and investigating.
