Two children found unharmed after kidnapping, two people arrested | News

SHREVEPORT, Louisiana – Shreveport police announced Saturday that 1-week-old Zarimia Washington and 3-year-old Zachariah Washington were found safe and sound after police said they were abducted.

Aries Washington and Jaycee Craig were both arrested in this case.

Both children are now in the care of the Department of Child and Family Services.

Zarimia and Zachariah Washington were reported missing on July 26 after being removed from protective custody.

Both children were taken away from their parents as proceedings regarding their welfare were pending.
