Man shot dead in Wilmington, Delaware on Friday – NBC10 Philadelphia

According to Wilmington police, a man was killed by gunfire in Delaware on Friday evening.

The 35-year-old man was found by officers responding to a shooting that occurred shortly after 7:30 p.m. in the 500 block of South Van Buren Street, police said.

Officers took the man to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The shooting is still under investigation, officials said.
