BC Emergency Alert and Evacuation Order issued by the Cariboo Regional District and District of Wells

EMERGENCY ORDERS issued by the Cariboo Regional District and District of Wells due to wildfires.

Evacuate immediately if you are in the following areas: District of Wells, Barkerville, Bowron Lakes Community and west side of the Bowron Lakes range.

Forest fires in the region pose a threat to human life.

Evacuate west on Highway 26 to Quesnel, BC. If you are evacuating your primary residence, an evacuee reception centre is available at the Quesnel and District Arts and Recreation Centre at 500 North Star Road. Visitors must also leave the area.
