Panhandle man arrested for threatening President Joe Biden

BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB) – A Panhandle man is facing charges for making threats against President Joe Biden.

On Monday, Jason Patrick Alday, 39, of Quincy, Florida, was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service Task Force and the U.S. Secret Service on a federal criminal complaint.


According to a press release, the criminal complaint accuses Alday of sending threatening letters and making threats against the President of the United States and federal officials.

Alday was ordered to be remanded in custody pending trial.

The case is being investigated by the U.S. Secret Service and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Eric Welch.
