Two people arrested after death of infant

LEXINGTON, Kentucky (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Two people have been arrested following the death of a toddler on Center Parkway Saturday.

According to police, officers were called to a home in the 1200 block of Center Parkway shortly after 9:20 a.m. because an unresponsive infant was found there.

When officers arrived, they found 20-month-old Joshua Bowen, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

27-year-old Brianna Johnson and 22-year-old Kyle Guindon were arrested.

Johnson was charged with first-degree aggravated abuse. Guindon was charged with first-degree assault and first-degree aggravated abuse.

Both are being held at the Fayette County Detention Center.
