Police search for hit-and-run accident

According to police, the accident occurred Tuesday in the 7200 block of West Yale Avenue.

DENVER – Denver police are searching for a truck involved in a hit-and-run crash Tuesday.

According to police, the accident occurred in the 7200 block of West Yale Avenue. That is northeast of South Wadsworth Boulevard and Highway 285.

According to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, the truck struck another vehicle and a cyclist, causing serious injuries.

Police are looking for a 2022 GMC Sierra truck with Colorado license plate CYTZ04. The truck is said to have damage to the passenger side and possibly the front, police said.

Anyone with information about the truck or the driver is asked to call 720-913-7867.
