Indiana man arrested after filming himself raping woman and her daughter

INDIANAPOLIS – A man has been arrested and charged after allegedly breaking into a West Side home and raping a woman and her daughter at gunpoint.

The 21-year-old is preliminarily charged with two counts of rape.

According to court documents, the man broke into the home in west Indianapolis on Sunday afternoon and then raped a woman and her 12-year-old daughter.

The woman told police that she had come home from a tire shop when there was a knock on her door and she found the then-unidentified man wearing a mask and pointing a gun at her.

According to the woman, the man recorded the act with a mobile phone.

Based on a description of the woman and her daughter, as well as nearby cameras, IMPD officers were able to locate the man at a home on W. 28th Street. He was arrested following a traffic stop at W. 30th Street and Annette Street.

According to court documents, the man denied the crime to police.
