No buddy: BackaBuddy removes suspended DA MP Renaldo Gouws’ crowdfunding campaign from the platform

Crowdfunding platform BackaBuddy has ended a campaign raising funds in support of suspended DA MP Renaldo Gouws.

The campaign, initiated by a certain Matthew Dickson, was launched this week to help Gouws fight what Dickson described as discrimination against the suspended DA member.

Dickson was responding to Gouws’ suspension by the prosecutor’s office after a video emerged in which he could be heard making racist remarks and calling for the massacre of black people.
