Woman hit and killed in hit-and-run in St. Petersburg one day after her birthday

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) – One day after her birthday, a woman was struck and killed in a hit-and-run accident in St. Petersburg.

St. Petersburg police said Kathy Repke, 62, was crossing 4th Street North near Fossil Park in a marked crosswalk around 9:22 p.m. Tuesday when she was struck by a car. The driver who struck her drove away without rendering aid or contacting police.


Ripke was taken to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital in St. Petersburg, where she died.

St. Petersburg police said they are trying to locate 58-year-old Rosalyn Fuller because they believe she has information that could help the investigation.
