Las Vegas woman charged with sexually abusing her underage son’s friend

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – U.S. Marshals are searching for a woman accused of having sex with her teenage son’s underage friend.

Christina Cobb, 41, was scheduled to appear in court in January but never showed up, according to Clark County District Court records. She has two warrants out for her arrest in connection with two separate cases.

Las Vegas Metro Police first arrested Cobb on June 13, 2022. She was charged with two counts of sexual enticement and one count of lewdness with a child under the age of 16. The age of consent in Nevada is 16.

The previous month, the alleged victim, a juvenile, said Cobb gave him alcohol and “allowed him to sleep in her bed,” police wrote in a police report.

The teenager also told police that he probably fired eight shots before going to bed that night.

According to police, Cobb then sexually abused the teenager.

Without the presence of a lawyer, she refused to answer investigators’ questions, police said.

A Las Vegas court judge set Cobb’s bail at $20,000, which she posted in February 2023, according to court documents.

Police arrested Cobb again on August 3, 2023. She was accused of striking a juvenile family member with a crowbar, arguing with him, and then lying to police about the incident. She is charged with two felony counts, including assault with a deadly weapon and child abuse or neglect.

A Las Vegas Justice Court judge ordered Cobb released from jail on Sept. 5 because no criminal charges had been filed in the case, court records show. She was released on Sept. 16, police said.

Cobb’s trial in the first case was scheduled for February 5.

Cobb is believed to be in the Las Vegas area, but according to the U.S. Marshals, she does not appear to have any family ties elsewhere. A wanted poster reads: “Considered a sex offender with violent tendencies.”
