38-year-old man killed in hit-and-run crash in North Philadelphia – NBC10 Philadelphia

Philadelphia police are investigating after a driver of a stolen car collided with another vehicle in North Philadelphia, killing the driver before the two fled the scene.

According to officials, the incident occurred at about 1:25 a.m. on Sunday when a driver was struck by another vehicle at the intersection of 20th Street and Cecil B. Moore Avenue in North Philadelphia.

According to police, the accident resulted in a collision in which the 38-year-old man at the wheel of the vehicle was killed.

On Sunday, police said that the occupants of the vehicle that was stuck in the deceased driver’s car fled the scene on foot after the accident.

Police officials said the vehicle of the driver who caused the accident was reported stolen.

Officials are unsure how many occupants of the stolen vehicle fled the scene of the fatal crash, but said the investigation is ongoing.

As of Sunday, around 9:00 a.m., police announced that no arrests had been made in connection with the incident.
