40 poll workers suspended for skipping training

Hyderabad: County Returning Officer Ronald Ross has announced that 40 poll workers and deputy poll workers have been suspended under the Peoples Representation Act of 1951. The action was taken as they failed to appear for the mandatory training programs.

A GHMC press release further said that similar measures will be taken if employees do not attend the training on May 9 and 10. The suspended were from Department of School Education, College of Science, Nizam College, Koti Women’s College OU Main Campus, DRDL and Higher Education Department.
