Investigation into the drastic cuts at Macy’s in Downtown Crossing – NBC Boston

Police said one person was hospitalized after a suspected shoplifter attacked two security guards at Macy’s in Boston’s Downtown Crossing on Wednesday.

It happened at about 1:20 p.m. at the Washington Street store. Police said the suspected shoplifter was being restrained by security guards when they attacked and knocked down two security guards.

One person was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
