15-year-old shot dead at Muscle Shoals Red Roof Inn

MUSCLE SHOALS, Alabama (WHNT) – A 15-year-old boy was shot and killed at the Muscle Shoals Red Roof Inn Sunday morning.

According to Muscle Shoals police, officers responded to a report that a boy had been shot at around 7:28 a.m. and were dispatched to the Red Roof Inn on Woodward Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers found the boy and took him to Helen Keller Hospital where he was treated for his injuries. At the hospital, the boy was pronounced dead.

Muscle Shoals said a 16-year-old was arrested in the case and is expected to face charges in court.

The authorities were unable to determine the identity of the arrested 16-year-old.
