Man arrested for raping 9-year-old girl in Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh | Lucknow News

“We have arrested the vegetable vendor for digital rape (forced sexual intercourse using a body part other than the male genitalia) under sections 376 AB of the Indian Penal Code (rape of a woman below 12 years of age) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012. The first complaint in this connection was filed by her father, who works in a brick kiln,” a police official said.

According to the FIR, the girl was playing with friends in her village when the accused persuaded her to accompany him to a deserted place where she was raped on Friday evening.

“My daughter came home with blood on her clothes and when we asked her the reason, she told us about the ordeal she had suffered at the hands of the man she knows as he lives in our village. We took her to the police station where the complaint was filed,” the girl’s father said in his complaint to the police.

The defendant was married three times and his first two wives left him, police said.
