One dead in traffic accident in Attala County

ATTALA COUNTY, Mississippi (WJTV) – One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Attala County.

The accident occurred on Thursday, June 13, shortly before 12:30 p.m. on Highway 12 West.

Breezy News reported the vehicles collided in the westbound lanes of the highway. Hunter Wofford, 29, of Kosciusko, was killed in the crash.

The driver of the other vehicle involved in the accident did not suffer serious injuries.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) will investigate the accident.
