Police identify motorcyclist who died after hitting boulder in Danbury – NBC Connecticut

A 57-year-old man died Monday evening when his motorcycle crashed into an embankment and a rock in Danbury, police said.

Police identified the motorcyclist as Charles Preston of Danbury.

They found him seriously injured on the street when they rushed to Brushy Hill Road around 7:30 p.m.

Police said he died at the scene.

The Danbury Police Department Accident Investigation Team is investigating and believes that Preston lost control of his motorcycle while cornering, left the road and struck an embankment and a rock.
