Bridge and guardrail work on I-90 near Exit 49

DEPEW, NY – If you are traveling on I-90 near the Depew-Lockport exit (Exit 49), you should take a new route Monday evening and Tuesday morning.

From 10:00 p.m. Monday, June 10 through 3:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 11, the I-90 ramps will be closed to traffic so crews can work on guardrail repairs and routine bridge maintenance. Additionally, the westbound exit ramp from the Thruway will be closed during this time.

The New York State Thruway Authority states that during the closure, motorists will be permitted to travel between Transit Road and the tandem and park-and-ride lots. Longer-duty trucks (LCVs) and tandem vehicles are asked to use the tandem lots at Exit 48 (Batavia) for LCV/tandem operations.
