Woman dead, suspect in custody after shooting at Gwinnett mall

“Preliminary investigation indicates this was a domestic incident,” Meyers said. “Investigators are searching the area for witnesses and are investigating the motive for the shooting.”

A graduation party was being held at the venue on Saturday night when the shooting happened, Channel 2 Action News reported. The shooter and the victim knew each other, but it’s unclear if the shooting was related to the party, the news station said.

Authorities did not provide further details about the causes of the incident.
