Colombia stops coal exports to Israel because of Gaza war

Ammon News – Due to the conflict in the Gaza Strip, Colombian President Gustavo Petro announced on Saturday that his country would no longer export coal to Israel.

This move comes against the backdrop of deteriorating relations between the two formerly close military and trading partners.

Coal deliveries will only resume “when the genocide” in Gaza ends, Petro said in a post on the social media website X.
