Nina Dobrev has given her fans an update after surgery following a bike accident she suffered last month. In an Instagram post, the “Vampire Diaries” star wrote that “the surgery was a success.” “Thank you to everyone who sent kind messages, thoughts, prayers and good vibes. I’ve felt the support and positive energy. This means more to me than you’ll ever know,” Dobrev wrote on Instagram. Before her surgery, however, she wrote on her Story, “Anyone else scared of surgery? I’m such a baby when it comes to needles.” Although the actress was nervous, she remained positive, joking that her left leg looked “flawless” before it was scarred from the surgery. When the accident occurred in May, Dobrev shared a before-and-after photo on Instagram with the caption, “How it started vs. how it’s going.” While the first photo showed her riding an e-bike, the second showed Dobrev lying on a hospital bed with a brace on her leg and around her neck. “I am fine, but the road to recovery lies ahead of me,” the 35-year-old wrote in her Instagram story at the time.
