Domestic incident triggers police response in Mooresville

MOORESVILLE, NC — Mooresville police said a domestic incident Sunday afternoon ended with a peaceful surrender.

According to neighbors, the police operation around 1 p.m. caused a stir in a neighborhood near E Fenway Drive.

Mooresville police told Channel 9 that their department’s negotiators were able to get a suspect to surrender peacefully.

Channel 9 viewer Allan Westerholt showed us a video of police blocking off the road.

There is currently no information about the cause of this incident.
