EXCLUSIVE | Raveena Tandon attacked by mob: A detailed account of what happened

Fans of actress Raveena Tandon were horrified when a video of her being booed by a mob surfaced on social media on Sunday. In the video, a group can be seen harassing her and claiming that their car had hit her.

A source tells us, “Tandon was not drunk contrary to the claim. The other party admitted before the police, ‘Agar gaadi chhu jaati toh’, which means they were not hit by their car. They attacked their driver. She asked him to go inside the house. The claim that he ran away is false.” The source also adds, “In the CCTV footage of June 1 (in the possession of HT City), Tandon’s car did not hit anyone.”

On the allegations that she had beaten people, the source said, “They created a ruckus outside the gate of her bungalow in Bandra, Mumbai. Tandon tried to calm them down and said, ‘Please don’t hit him (the driver),’ which is seen in the video. Her guard was also dragged along by the group. Mumbai Police has recorded statements from Tandon’s associates. The group abused her, due to which she became angry and had to fight back for her safety. She stood outside her gate and prevented them from entering (her house) as her children Rasha and Ranbir were inside.”
