WEATHER WARNING: Severe storms expected overnight in Abilene and Big Country | KTAB

(KTAB/KRBC) – Severe storms are expected again Thursday night, moving through Abilene and the Big Country.

Around 6 p.m., a strong storm front will form in the west of the country, slowly moving east and reaching Abilene around 9 or 11 p.m.

Following the initial outbreak, two more lines of storms are expected, one in Abilene from 3:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. Friday and the other from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Friday.

Risks associated with these storms include damaging winds, heavy hail, flash floods, lightning strikes, and even isolated tornadoes.
