GEORGIA — The Garden Room is the most beautiful restaurant in Georgia, according to a new 50-state list from People magazine.

People said the list of America’s 50 Greatest Restaurants was put together by OpenTable to celebrate the magazine’s 50th anniversary.

“These stunning, ultra-stylish products deliver unforgettable dining experiences,” People said. “There are mountaintop chalets with modern rustic touches, glamorous Art Deco mansions with views, and stunning panels of mirror and glass that reach to the sky.”

People have said of The Garden Room, located in Atlanta: “A lush, colorful garden adorned with delicate tile mosaics and a pink and green dining room transports you straight to Europe.” »

Restaurants in neighboring states that were named the best are:

• Mila in Miami, Florida. The Garden Room features “striking sculptures” and “greenery galore.”
• Top of the Rock Restaurant and Brewery in Jasper, Tennessee. Top of the Rock features floor-to-ceiling windows and panoramic views.
• Camellias in Charleston, South Carolina. Camellias pays homage to the Russian Fabergé egg with “bright pink interiors and crystal chandeliers.”
• Daniel George Restaurant and Bar in Mountain Brook, Alabama. The Daniel George restaurant showcases American fare with “puffy curtains and a statement wall of mirrors.”
