According to police, two security guards were shot outside a club in the city center

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Memphis police are investigating a shooting that left two security officers injured.

On May 25, police arrived at the scene on Danny Thomas Boulevard and found that two security guards had been shot and one of the guards had been struck by a bullet on the right side of his face.

According to the affidavit, the victims saw two dark-colored vehicles shooting at them on Danny Thomas Boulevard near Adams Avenue.

The victim told police that the left side of his face may have been grazed by a bullet as he crossed the street eastbound on Adams Avenue near N. Danny Thomas Boulevard.

One of the security guards refused to be taken to a nearby hospital after the shooting.

The affidavit states that both security guards were standing outside the Level 3 Club on Adams Avenue when the vehicles began shooting.

A witness stated that there was an argument between the security guards and individuals before the shooting.

MPD is still searching for the suspects responsible.
