Police in Columbia are searching for a “person of interest” in connection with two missing women

Columbia police are searching for a 51-year-old man in connection with two women who were reported missing Tuesday.

CPD spokeswoman Jenny Hopper wrote in an email that the department was looking for Randall Fox. Hopper shared a photo of the man in the email. He was described as a “person of interest” in an investigation into Sara Elizabeth Fox, 50, who was last seen with her mother Marcia Hess, 77. Both are considered missing.

Columbia police wrote on Facebook Tuesday that the two women were last seen May 8 in the 1700 block of Ridgemont Drive.

Hess is described in a police post as being 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 185 pounds, with blue eyes and white hair. Sara Fox is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair.
